The BUSHWHACKER is a versatile mountain bike helmet that pushes boundaries when it comes to combining unsurpassed safety and ventilation in a lightweight package. The safety is built around the fundamentals of having a good fit with extended coverage and the geometry of the head has been carefully considered to provide optimal protection. Thus the polycarbonate shells are made 30% thicker in critical areas where the geometry of the head requires extra protection. Vents are strategically placed so that the most exposed areas of the head are best covered.
In addition, the BUSHWHACKER CARBON MIPS model has carbon fiber reinforced shell and MIPStechnology, which reduces the rotational violence potentially inflicted on the brain with up to 50%, ensuring optimal protection. Direct Ventilation is designed with 17 air vents; 5 direct inlets, 8 direct outlets and 4 vertical extract vents providing efficient cooling. The visor shape amplifies the direction of the airflow into the helmet and digital techniques have been used to optimize the air flow through the helmet to improve ventilation capabilities.
Finally, the BUSHWHACKER has been designed to improve the user experience and comfort. The internal geometry of the helmet is closely fitted (neck hugging) thus reducing the total volume of the helmet. The helmet is light weight (320g) and the easy-adjustable 4-way Occigrip system makes individual adjustments possible. Shades and goggles also fit naturally with the BUSHWHACKER.
